Work with Joy – Rawnsley, Ruskin and the Keswick School of Industrial Arts

Dr Rosalind Rawnsley, great-granddaughter of Canon Hardwicke Rawnsley, explores the    influence of Ruskin’s ideas on Rawnsley and his wife Edith which led them to create the Keswick School of Industrial Arts. Rawnsley was one of the founders of the National Trust and a     devoted follower of Ruskin.  7.30pm  Doors open at 7.00.  Tickets: £7.00 includes a drink on arrival.  Booking recommended.  Pre-talk supper can be booked at the Terrace in advance (015394 49025).
